Spor Repor

Last night I was watching Stephen Colbert and it was a rerun, of course, from some time this summer.  I miss fresh new Colbert Reports to be honest, and so this particular column is dedicated to the Sport Report (pronounced Spor Repor by Stephen himself).

Apparently at some point last weekend, the Louisville Cardinals were out partying in Vegas, which the UofL Athletic Department denied in face of photographic evidence they hadn’t bothered to look up before becoming irate.  Good job guys. This is just another example of the fact that what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas.  The good news for Wildcats fans is that it looks like Walter McCarty is still  on our side.  That’s right, check out those shorts. Not as good as the denim, but close.

Bob Knight also continues to be a threat to this nations’ basketball youth, as well as hunters, apparently. Not only did he allegedly shoot a couple of people while hunting, but also was taped in a little tiff with a homeowner.  Granted, this is the homeowner’s footage, so it probably makes Bobby worse that he actually was.  The best part about it though, is that the former IU coach who once threw chairs and smacked players seemed to take issue with how un-polite the homeowner was asking them to move away from his house.  Oh Bobby…..
